About Us ..

In 1926, during the seventh reign of the Chakri dynasty, Luang Maitrivanit (born Chalerm Yodmanee) leased a building from the Royal Treasury. He established the Suthadilok Department Store, specializing in imported goods, which operated until the lease expired in 1933.

TAANTHAI Cuisine weaves together a rich palette of flavors and history. Its name, a harmonious blend of TAAN (ทาน) meaning "to eat" and THAI (ไทย) signifying "Thai" or "Thailand," encapsulates the essence of "ลิ้มรสแห่งสยาม" (Savoring the Flavors of Siam). This culinary journey traces its roots to "Tiao Nai Suan Restaurant (ร้านเตี๋ยวในสวน ซอยระนอง2)", a beloved establishment run by the descendants of Luang Maitrivanit.
